Job Description
- Oversee tax compliance processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients, offering tailored solutions based on their needs.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise client outcomes.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and handle inquiries or audits effectively.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals to achieve departmental goals.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and advise clients on potential impacts.
- Prepare and review tax reports, ensuring timely submission.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients.
A Successful Tax Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in tax or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTIM).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in managing tax compliance and advisory projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Leadership abilities to guide and develop a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and related tools.
- Month salary ranging from MYR 12,000 to MYR 13,000.
