IC Verification Engineer | Singapore

An innovative automotive semiconductor company developing next-generation SoC solutions that bring intelligent cockpit and advanced driver-assistance capabilities onto a single chip.

As it establishes its R&D presence in Singapore, the company is seeking an IC Verification Engineer to join its engineering team.

This role offers the opportunity to shape verification strategies for complex IPs and SoCs, working closely with design engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable silicon.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans at IP and SoC levels.
• Design and build reusable testbenches and verification environments using UVM.
• Create directed and constrained-random tests to identify design issues.
• Develop functional coverage models and assertions to ensure verification completeness.
• Analyse simulation results, debug test failures, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues.
• Automate verification workflows and regression testing using scripting languages.
• Support emulation and FPGA prototyping activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in ASIC or SoC functional verification.
• Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience with verification tools and simulators such as VCS, Xcelium, or Questa.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with close attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering functions.
• Programming or scripting skills in C/C++, Python, Perl, or TCL would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of formal verification techniques would be a plus.
