About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AV System Technician to join our team in Singapore. This role involves the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of professional audiovisual systems for a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, hands-on experience, and communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of AV systems (including video conferencing, display systems, control systems, audio solutions, and structured cabling). Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues during and after deployment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and end users to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide end-user training and system handover documentation.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with industry and company standards on job sites.
  • Provide remote or on-site support and maintenance as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AV systems installation and support (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Shure, Cisco, Zoom Rooms, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure and IP-based AV systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in both English (verbal and written) is required for communicating with clients, vendors, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with system design tools is a plus.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience working in a system integrator environment.
