Responsibilities

Guide and Support Learning

• Supervise students in completing homework, assessment books and corrections.
• Support students in preparing for tests and examinations.
• Encourage positive learning habits and independent learning.

Care for Children's Well-Being

• Ensure the safety, well-being and welfare of children under your care.
• Provide support during study time, meals and recreational activities.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected.

Build Strong Relationships

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide quality care and support.

Create Meaningful Experiences

• Plan and conduct engaging holiday programmes, enrichment activities and outings.
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and responsibility through positive guidance and discipline.

Be a Positive Role Model

• Demonstrate professionalism, care and integrity in your interactions with children, parents and colleagues.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum GCE A-Level, Diploma or Degree qualification.
• Experience working with children aged 7 to 12 years is an advantage.
• Passionate about child development and education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Organised, responsible and committed to children's safety and well-being.
