Role Description The Technical Sales Specialist – for Chromatography consumables is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role involves engaging with chromatography and spectroscopy customers to understand their requirements, recommending suitable solutions and application support. The specialist will conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations, and will collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotations and proposals aligned with customer needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining relationships with existing clients, expanding the customer base, providing post-sales technical support in coordination with service teams, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also includes monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to support strategic sales planning and contribute to revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience in GC/GCMS, HPLC/LCMS , UV-Vis, FTIR , AAS , ICP/ICPMS...preferred.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships and support clients effectively.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including understanding of laboratory workflows and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Candidates should possess good problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree in science, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Previous working experience in the analytical instruments laboratory or sales experience in chromatography instruments will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and use CRM and office productivity tools effectively.
