A leading local bank is looking for an experienced compliance professional to join its Group Compliance team. You will develop and maintain the AML/CFT and sanctions policy framework across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and enhance controls, policies and procedures to manage AML/CFT risks effectively
• Review and maintain Group AML/CFT policies in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practice
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging risks, and conduct gap analyses
• Present updates and recommendations to business forums and committees
• Manage internal and external audits and regulatory reviews
• Advise business and operations teams on AML/CFT and sanctions requirements
• Support policy rollout, training and awareness initiatives
• Track and report on policy exceptions, issues and remediation
• Work with legal, risk and technology teams on compliance projects
• Prepare papers and updates for senior management

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related discipline and above
• 4 to 8 years of experience in AML/CFT, sanctions or regulatory compliance, ideally in banking
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and international standards
• Strong analytical, drafting and policy writing skills
• Able to interpret regulation and translate it into practical controls
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Sound judgement and integrity
• Self-driven with strong follow-through
