You will work with a team of audit professionals in the General Industry or Financial Services Industry (FSI), providing audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients comprising publicly listed companies, MNCs, local conglomerates and financial institutions, including banking, insurance, and securities. The successful candidate can also look forward to other projects such as initial public offerings related work, due diligence and special investigations and other high-impact assignments that broaden your commercial perspective and accelerate your development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide audit, accounting, and regulatory advice, as well as attest and attest-related services.
• Apply robust audit tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services.
• Leverage AI-enabled audit tools, data analytics and automation to enhance audit quality, identify trends and anomalies, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of audit procedures —while applying sound professional judgement..
• Explore opportunities to automate routine audit activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes.
• Use generative AI and other emerging technologies responsibly in accordance with the firm's governance, confidentiality, data security, and professional standards.
• Build a deep understanding of each client’s business model, strategy, risks, and industry context, using strong business acumen to identify relevant issues and deliver practical, tailored insights.

Advise clients on areas including:

• Initial public offerings (IPOs)
• Internal controls
• Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• US GAAP
• Regulatory compliance
• Conduct a variety of assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients.
• Collaborate with different engagement teams and managers across projects.
• Gain exposure to multiple aspects of engagements as you progress.
• Benefit from continuous learning, coaching and varied assignments, including hands-on experience, including the use of AI, data analytics, and other emerging audit technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification; progress towards a recognised professional accounting qualification is advantageous
• Fluency in English communications, both verbal and written
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of external audit experience required for experienced hires
• Intellectual curiosity, AI-forward mindset, professional scepticism, and agility to work in a dynamic environment
