1. Responsible for the productivities and qualities of road maintenance works and safety at site.

2. Responsible to monitor and supervise RN work progress on site and ensure comply with work programme and specifications including issuing notice for Non-compliance Report (NCR).

3. Responsible to prepare all related document on routine work and daily reports.

4. Responsible to prepare Key Performance Index (KPI) for RN.

5. Responsible to monitor and supervise MI in implementing the daily inspection works.

6. Responsible to compile progress reports twice a month on every 15th and 30th.

7. Responsible to assist in updating the inventory data including existing data and mapping new roads for submissions to PBT for registration with MARRIS systems online.

8. Responsible to check and review work done report by RN including documentation related to claims.

9. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in preparing claims to PBT including compile, review all documentation, report and submit to PBT (Voucher).

10. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in preparing Certificate of Payment (COP) documentations and Statement of Final Account for RN.

11. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in preparing submission letter of work program and claims to PBT and submit copy receive to Contract Department.

12. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager checking and evaluate RN invoice, progress report, docket, receipt and other relevant documents.

13. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in briefing regarding contractual matters and negotiation with Rakan Niaga (RN) at section.

14. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in updating Masterlist.

15. Assist CE / Assistant Section Manager in attending site valuations of project together with RN and PBT representative (if necessary).

16. Responsible to ensure all the company assets provided to be in good condition and properly maintained.

17. Other works as directed by the superior.

18. Liaise with PBT regarding to complaints and site visits with Authority and Third-Party Utilities.

19. Supervise and control utilization of company’s assets and facilities in accordance to the company’s regulation and guideline.

20. Liaise and establish conducive working relationship with the client, sub-contractors, suppliers and public.

21. Monitor and ensure the implementation of the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) complies with the Road Technical Instructions (JKR) 2C/85 and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994

22. Conduct safety briefings (Toolbox Meetings) before work begins.

23. Ensure contractors possess valid Permit to Work (PTW) approvals.

24. Take appropriate action against contractors who violate safety regulations.

25. Manage the issuance of Traffic Control Devices (TCD) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees and contractors.

26. Prepare monthly reports on TMP implementation and safety incidents for submission to the Head of Department.

27. Assist in accident investigations and reporting within the section.

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent

At least 2 years of related experience

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
