Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with a recognised professional accounting qualification preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Business Analysis, Audit or Full Set Accounting within a Shared Services Centre (SSC), BPO or similar environment.
At least 5 years of people management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing sizeable teams.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting operations and statutory compliance.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, adaptable and committed, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Comfortable working in a multinational, multicultural environment with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Tanggungjawab
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Malaysia Shared Services Centre, managing a team of approximately 20 employees across Finance, Customer Service and Administration.
Supervise Finance Team Leads across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections and General Ledger functions, ensuring smooth operations and providing backup support when required.
Ensure timely completion and submission of statutory requirements, including VAT filings, corporate tax returns, annual financial statements and external audits in accordance with local regulations.
Review intercompany transactions, including related-party loan reconciliations and recharge balances on a monthly basis.
Oversee and review monthly management accounts prepared by the General Ledger team.
Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency by improving existing processes, implementing new workflows and maintaining up-to-date operating procedures.
Coach, mentor and develop team members through continuous training and skills enhancement.
Support recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring recommendations.
Prepare monthly payroll information and coordinate with the external payroll service provider to ensure timely payroll processing.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend salary adjustments and bonus proposals for management approval.
Support local HR administrative matters relating to the Malaysia Shared Services Centre when required.
Coordinate local IT-related matters, including hardware and software upgrades, implementation projects and vendor management.
Ensure timely renewal of tenancy agreements, business licences and insurance policies.
Manage the SSC's own financial activities, including management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, costing and internal billings.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and company secretaries on statutory audits, tax compliance and annual corporate filings.
Participate as a member of the Shared Services Centre's Board of Directors.
Undertake special assignments and ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
