Team Marine Sdn. Bhd. is a marine service and supply company based in Port Klang, Malaysia. The Company specialises in the servicing, inspection and maintenance of marine safety equipment, including liferafts, lifeboats and firefighting appliances. The Company also provides marine equipment supplies, ship spare parts and vessel support services to customers in the shipping and maritime industry.

Job Summary

The Technician is responsible for assisting in the servicing, inspection, testing and maintenance of marine safety equipment to ensure that equipment is in good working condition and meets the required safety standards. Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, servicing, testing and maintenance of marine safety equipment, including liferafts, lifeboats, fire extinguishers and other life-saving appliances.
• Assist in dismantling, cleaning, repairing and reassembling equipment, as well as replacing parts when necessary.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance work at the workshop, customer premises, ports and onboard vessels.
• Assist in checking equipment functionality and identifying defects or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, organised and safe condition.
• Complete service records and technical reports as required.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Travel outstation when required to carry out servicing and maintenance assignments.
• Perform other technical and operational duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Preferably below 40 years old.
• Open to candidates of all races.
• No prior working experience required; training will be provided.
• Must possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to work extended hours and full working days when required.
• Willing to travel outstation and work at different locations, including ports and onboard vessels.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on technical work.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
