Brief Description

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Technician to support the Research & Development (R&D) team in fabrication, prototyping, testing, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate is practical, reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively with engineers and team members.

Job Description (JD)

• Assist R&D engineers in fabrication, prototyping, and testing activities.
• Operate and maintain machinery, tooling, and equipment.
• Inspect samples for quality, document findings, and prepare reports.
• Maintain R&D workshop cleanliness, safety, and proper tool inventory.
• Support the team in maintaining technical documentation and ensuring workshop safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to solve problems independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with prototyping, machine and tool operation, and metalworking is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
