Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Engineer

Employment type : Open to Perm & Contract

Working arrangement : Onsite

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang

Salary Range : 15-20% Increment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis, simulation, and validation for high speed digital interfaces across chip, package, and board levels
• Conduct pre layout and post layout SI/PI assessments to ensure compliance with performance specifications
• Develop and validate IBIS, SPICE, and S parameter models for high speed channel analysis
• Analyze and troubleshoot SI/PI issues including crosstalk, reflections, impedance discontinuities, EMI, and PDN performance
• Support high speed SERDES SIPI analysis and sign off for interfaces such as PCIe Gen5, Gen6, USB4, and 56G/112G Ethernet
• Collaborate with substrate and interposer designers to optimize stack up, routing, and PDN design
• Produce analysis report for customer on pacakge performance and system performance
• Develop design guidelines, documentation, and best practices for SI/PI optimization and customer support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field with 3 to 7 years experience in SIPI pre- and post-layout validation
• Proficiency with SI/PI simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, or similar
• Experience with SPICE based simulators (HSPICE, Spectre, LTSPICE)
• Familiarity with high speed interface standards: DDR/LPDDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet.
