Job Description

• Able to plan/coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies.
• Able to liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
• Able to work independently and as a key member of the Site Management.
• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at the site and recommend solutions to the relevant team/department.
• Review Architectural drawings for conflicts with Structural/M&E and liaise with consultants to resolve issues.
• Ensure all works are carried out within the schedule and maintain the required quality.
• Ensure work safe environment at the work site and manage workers.
• Assist the Construction Manager in overseeing the daily construction and site coordination of different activities.
• Responsible for preparing, submitting, and monitoring technical drawings, method of statements, and shop drawings.
• To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule & preparation of daily records & monthly site progress reports.
• Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Quality Control.
• Coordination of works with subcontractors.
• Liaise with the consultants on technical and quality issues.
• Arrangement for inspection of works.
• Demonstrate strong paperwork and documentation skills for technical submissions.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and relevant government authorities to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of Site/Working Experience.
• Candidates with relevant marine civil engineering experience are strongly preferred.
• Experience in wharf, port, dock, shipyard or marine civil engineering projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and familiar with project scheduling and planning.
• Able to use AutoCAD for technical drawings.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Must be willing to work at Tuas South, Singapore.
