Our client is a major global resources company at the forefront of asset optimization and industrial innovation. They are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Data and AI) for a strategic engagement based in Singapore.

As their Technical Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in running discovery and shaping requirements for an Asset Performance Management (APM) design project. You will work directly with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, and operations teams to understand how their current system is used, translating complex operational workflows into clear requirements for an AI-assisted solution.

Working hand-in-hand with the solution architect and UX designer/researcher, you will bridge the gap between technical data systems and core business execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run discovery sessions with reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and operations teams to document current-state maintenance and APM processes.
• Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements for AI-assisted use cases, including failure prediction, operational alerts, and actionable insights.
• Map data flows and integrations between the maintenance system of record, operational and sensor data sources, and the core APM platform.
• Define precise requirements for model outputs, covering alert thresholds, accuracy expectations, and human review protocols.
• Build decision criteria and scorecards used to compare solution options, working collaboratively alongside the solution architect.
• Facilitate interactive workshops and produce comprehensive user stories and a prioritized backlog for the proof of concept.
• Capture detailed data quality, reporting, and analytics requirements to ensure high integrity across all pipelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Min 5 years of total experience as a technical business analyst working on large enterprise data, analytics, or AI programs.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and workshop facilitation skills in complex organizational structures.
• Solid foundation in data mapping, analytics or BI requirements, and a working understanding of data pipelines.
• Comfortable working directly alongside software engineers, data scientists, and solution architects.
• Experience in AI/ML projects (framing use cases, defining model output requirements, data quality/labeling).
