About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Operations Lead to oversee network infrastructure operations, incident and escalation management, network security, vendor coordination, and infrastructure migration activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise network environments, network monitoring and troubleshooting, incident management, vulnerability remediation, network upgrades, and working with multiple internal teams and technology vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day network operations, ensuring network availability, stability, performance, and SLA compliance.
• Manage and drive resolution of network incidents, escalations, and major incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
• Lead technical bridge calls and coordinate internal teams, vendors, and service providers during high-priority incidents.
• Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco, Juniper, F5 and NetScaler environments.
• Support firewall, VPN, load balancer and network security operations.
• Manage network configuration, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and service restoration activities.
• Conduct post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and prepare management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation activities, and ensure security issues are addressed within required timelines.
• Coordinate patch management, software/firmware upgrades, SSL certificate renewals, and network device upgrades.
• Maintain accurate CMDB and infrastructure documentation for network, voice, firewall, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for incident resolution, maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
• Support network migration, device refresh, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Review network configurations and ensure implementation follows approved architecture, security, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, NOC teams, field engineers, and customers during network implementation and migration activities.
• Participate in Design Validation Testing (DVT) and Business Validation Testing (BVT) following network implementation or refresh activities.
• Support network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to network operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, network operations, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Strong experience in enterprise network operations and incident management.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network devices.
• Experience with F5 and/or NetScaler load balancers.
• Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPN and enterprise networking.
• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and service restoration.
• Good understanding of firewalls, network hardening, vulnerability management, and patch management.
• Experience managing network migrations, device refreshes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem and change management processes.
• Experience working with vendors, service providers, customers, and internal technology teams.
• Strong documentation, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience in a Team Lead, Network Lead, or Senior Network Engineer position is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCNA
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
• PRINCE2 / PMP or other project management certification
• ITIL certification is an advantage
