I’m working with a quantitative trading firm looking for a strong engineer to join its trading technology team.

This role sits at the intersection of Quant Research, Trading and Engineering. You’ll work closely with Quant Researchers to bring strategies into production, improve their performance in live markets, and build the systems and tooling needed to keep trading running reliably.

What you’ll work on:

• Develop and maintain production systems supporting equities and futures trading strategies
• Partner with Quant Researchers on strategy deployment, iteration and productionisation
• Optimize trading and order execution performance across compute, storage, networking and hardware
• Investigate and resolve real-time production issues during market hours
• Improve the reliability, observability and performance of mission-critical trading infrastructure
• Build internal engineering and developer tools to make research-to-production workflows faster and more robust

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of strong software engineering experience
• Strong Linux fundamentals
• Proficiency in C++ + scripting, or Python + Java / Go / Rust
• Experience building or operating production-grade systems
• Strong understanding of system design, performance and reliability
• Comfortable with Git, code review and CI/CD
• Strong interest in quantitative/systematic trading
