Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, providing technical support, coordinating project development, and ensuring all engineering requirements and documentation are completed before projects are handed over to the Production Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, emails, quotations, and technical requests professionally.
• Follow up on quotations, samples, customer feedback, and project progress.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
• Assist with basic engineering tasks, dimensional checks, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments on tooling, materials, samples, testing, and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress from initial enquiry to engineering approval and production handover.
• Ensure all approved drawings, specifications, material requirements, and customer approvals are complete before production handover.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications, project documents, and engineering changes.
• Work closely with Engineering, Tooling, Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and other relevant departments.
• Identify and follow up on technical issues to ensure smooth project development and production preparation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Willing to learn about rubber manufacturing processes.
