Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Quantity Surveyor (Accept Fresh Graduate, but need to have education / experience in QS).

• Candidates with relevant internship or industrial training experience will have an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of construction drawings and quantity measurement techniques.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD will be an advantage.

• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• Willing to work on-site at the ECRL project in Westport, Klang.

• Candidates with their own transportation are preferred.

• Site Supervisor (Civil Background)

Job Responsibilities

1. Site Measurement & Verification

• Conduct site measurements and verify actual completed work against construction drawings and project requirements.

• Assist in ensuring that site progress records are accurate and consistent with the actual work completed.

2. Progress Claims Management

• Assist in preparing monthly progress claims for submission to the client or Superintending Officer (S.O.).

• Assist in reviewing and verifying monthly progress claims submitted by subcontractors.

3. Variation Orders (VO)

• Assist in measuring, evaluating, and documenting variation orders.

• Assist in resolving site measurement discrepancies and related disputes.

4. Material & Subcontract Procurement

• Monitor material usage and wastage, and assist in controlling project costs.

• Assist in evaluating suppliers and subcontractors and supporting procurement activities.

5. Final Accounts

• Assist the Contracts team in compiling and verifying final accounts with subcontractors and the client.

• Support the final account settlement process upon project completion.

6. Reporting

• Prepare progress reports, cost summaries, and budget tracking documents for management review.
