Role Description The Equipment Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Simpang Empat. This position is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on semiconductor and industrial equipment, including setup, calibration, inspection, and repair to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily tasks include executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing equipment issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and documenting maintenance activities and repair histories. The technician will also support equipment upgrades and modifications, adhere to safety and quality standards, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate work and resolve technical problems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for production or test equipment.
• Strong Troubleshooting abilities, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment or complex industrial machinery in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical work clearly.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and quality management practices.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to work shifts or overtime as needed.
