About the Role

We are looking for experienced, responsible and hands-on retail professionals to join our Ariani Ready-to-Wear team.

We have two management positions available, with placement based on each candidate's experience, strengths and suitability.

The ideal candidate should have strong fashion retail experience, excellent leadership skills and a good understanding of sales performance, inventory control, staff management and daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations & Sales

- Oversee daily retail operations and ensure smooth store or department performance.

- Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.

- Take a proactive approach to resolving operational and customer-related issues.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Manage stock receiving, transfers, replenishment and inventory accuracy.

- Ensure all stock movements are properly recorded and documented.

- Conduct regular stock counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.

- Monitor stock availability, fast-moving and slow-moving products.

- Maintain an organised stockroom and minimise stock losses.

Team Leadership & Management

- Supervise, train and motivate retail staff.

- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, discipline and performance.

- Ensure the team follows company SOPs and operational standards.

- Monitor individual and team productivity.

- Lead by example and provide hands-on support on the sales floor.

Store Presentation & Visual Merchandising

- Ensure the retail environment is clean, organised and well-maintained.

- Maintain attractive product displays according to brand guidelines.

- Apply basic visual merchandising and styling knowledge to improve product presentation.

- Ensure merchandise is properly arranged, replenished and ready for customers.

Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare accurate sales, inventory and operational reports.

- Coordinate effectively with HQ, warehouse and other departments.

- Identify operational issues and take proactive action to resolve them.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion, apparel or ready-to-wear.

- At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or retail management role.

- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and retail operations.

- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage retail teams.

- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of visual merchandising and fashion styling.

- Familiar with POS systems, inventory software and Microsoft Excel.

- Responsible, organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask.

- Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.

- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and during peak retail seasons.

Position Placement

• House of Ariani, Kuala Lumpur – Retail Floor Manager

Suitable for candidates who excel in managing a busy retail floor, supervising larger teams, driving sales and maintaining excellent customer service and operational standards within a department.

• Wangsa Walk Mall – Boutique Manager

Suitable for candidates who are confident in independently managing an entire boutique, including overall sales performance, inventory control, staff management and daily store operations.

Final placement will be determined based on the candidate's experience, capabilities and suitability for each location.
