WE’RE HIRING: MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Position: Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

Vacancy: 1

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: SGD $3000-$6000 per month

Eligibility: Open to all nationalities, subject to meeting job requirements and obtaining the necessary work pass approval, where applicable.

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, maintain and improve mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling engineering-related matters, coordinating project requirements and ensuring that technical documentation is properly reviewed and submitted in accordance with the relevant project and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle mechanical and electrical engineering-related requirements and project coordination.

Review technical documentation and ensure the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents.

Respond to technical queries from Singapore Power (SP) regarding submitted documentation.

Coordinate with relevant authorities, clients, contractors and internal departments on engineering matters.

Assist in resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth project execution.

Monitor project requirements and provide necessary engineering support.

Ensure engineering documentation and submissions comply with applicable project specifications and requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Able to handle engineering-related requirements and project coordination independently.

Capable of reviewing technical documentation and responding to queries from Singapore Power (SP) regarding submitted documents.

Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with authorities, clients and internal departments.

Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple engineering tasks effectively.

4. ADDITIONAL PROJECT ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS

For candidates undertaking Project Engineer and site-management responsibilities, the following requirements apply:

Possess a university degree in the relevant engineering discipline.

Possess certification in WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing work sites for projects related to asset renewal or construction of oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.

Able to work full-time on-site to manage mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works.

Able to schedule and travel between different project sites when concurrent works are being carried out at multiple locations.

Experienced in site management, project scheduling and coordination for construction projects.
