We are seeking a caring and responsible
Nursing Aide
to support adults with intellectual disabilities at a disability care centre.
This role is suited to candidates with hands-on experience in
intellectual disability care and personal care assistance
, who are passionate about supporting clients’ daily needs, well-being and independence.

Contract Duration:
3 months
Working Hours:
Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding and toileting.
Support routine healthcare needs, including medication administration and basic health monitoring, in accordance with training and authorised procedures.
Observe and report changes in clients’ physical health, behaviour and well-being.
Assist with physiotherapy exercises, daily activities and recreational programmes.
Accompany clients to medical appointments when required.
Support care staff in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
Mandatory: Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Mandatory: Experience in nursing aide duties and personal care assistance.
1–3 years of relevant nursing care, healthcare or disability care experience preferred.
Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Healthcare Support or an equivalent qualification preferred.
Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Caring, patient and responsible, with good communication skills.
Able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team.
