Job Title:
Resident Technical Officer (Electrical / ICA)
Location:
Kranji, Singapore
Employment Type:
Full-Time, Contract
Contract Duration:
Initial 2-year contract, with possible extension (subject to client's approval and project progress). Overall project duration is approximately 4 years.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm
Transport pick-up and drop-off provided at Kranji MRT Station.
Probation Period:
6 months
Notice Period:
1 month during probation; 2 months after confirmation.
Job Responsibilities
Carry out duties and responsibilities as a Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) in accordance with the Building Control Act.
Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in supervising site works and ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings and relevant codes.
Review design calculations and drawings at site in coordination with the RE.
Monitor construction progress and provide regular site progress updates.
Conduct inspections and maintain proper documentation of inspection and testing activities in accordance with BCA requirements.
Coordinate and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Inspect and verify completed works for the RE's recommendation on contractor progress payments.
Ensure quality assurance and compliance with relevant regulatory and project requirements.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Must be registered as an RTO with IES/JAC and meet applicable BCA registration requirements.
Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in water or wastewater treatment plant projects.
Relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) works.
Familiarity with construction regulations, site inspection procedures and quality assurance requirements.
Self-motivated, proactive, diligent and able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
Good communication and coordination skills.
