Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cook role based in Banting. The Cook will prepare, cook, and present a variety of meals in accordance with established menus, dietary requirements, and food safety standards. Daily responsibilities include organizing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, operating cooking equipment, and ensuring timely meal service for staff and guests. The Cook will follow hygiene protocols, manage basic inventory for kitchen supplies, and assist in menu planning when required. The role involves working closely with colleagues to coordinate meal schedules and maintain consistent food quality.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills including basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and handling of cooking equipment.
• Ability to plan simple menus, manage portions, and support basic inventory control.
• Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Prior experience as a cook or kitchen assistant in institutional or commercial settings is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and safe handling of kitchen tools.
• Willingness to follow organizational policies, comply with safety regulations, and support a respectful, inclusive workplace.
