Job Description – Site Engineer

Location: Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia | Site-based

Hospital Project- Immediate Joining

Working Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities for a hospital project in Kulim, Kedah. The candidate will ensure that site works are carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site supervisors.
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure work complies with approved drawings and engineering standards.
  • Coordinate setting-out, measurements, inspections, and technical requirements.
  • Identify and resolve site engineering issues and report major concerns to the project manager.
  • Monitor material usage, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and construction regulations.
  • Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records, and other site documentation.
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and M&E teams to avoid construction clashes.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–7 years of site engineering experience.
  • Hospital, commercial building, or large-scale building construction experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, site execution, and quality control.
  • Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Kulim, Kedah.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
