We are seeking an IT Business Consultant specialising in SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) to support regional business operations and system improvement initiatives across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role involves translating business needs into practical system solutions, supporting SAP-related projects and integrations, and working closely with regional stakeholders to improve sales, retail and omnichannel processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior consultants, solution owners and cross-functional teams, including counterparts in Switzerland, to support business requirements and deliver reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply working knowledge of SAP SD, SAP S/4HANA Sales, pricing, order-to-cash processes, EDI and omnichannel retail operations.
• Support the analysis, configuration and implementation of SAP Sales, SAP CAR and associated retail applications.
• Gather, assess and document business requirements with direction from senior consultants and solution owners.
• Assist in designing business processes and preparing solution documentation in line with established global standards.
• Coordinate EDI integrations, testing and issue resolution with business partners, vendors and relevant third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Perform SAP system configuration within the assigned scope and maintain accurate technical and process documentation.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, deployment planning, end-user training, cutover and post-implementation support.
• Investigate and resolve routine system incidents, escalating complex technical or functional issues to senior team members or external vendors when necessary.
• Ensure supported solutions comply with applicable legal, security and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and system enhancements.
• Work closely with business users, developers, solution architects and support teams to maintain stable and effective business applications.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders across APAC and collaborate with Switzerland-based counterparts, particularly on retail and omnichannel initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in SAP applications, business systems consulting, retail technology or logistics-related solutions.
• Practical exposure to SAP S/4HANA Sales, SAP SD, pricing and order-to-cash processes.
• Familiarity with SAP CAR, including POSDTA and OAA, EDI integrations or omnichannel retail systems is advantageous.
• Ability to understand business needs, analyse requirements and translate them into appropriate system solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English for communication with international colleagues and business partners.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and develop technical expertise. Candidates from other industries may be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude, learning agility and potential to grow into the role.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
