About Equitable Technologies

Equitable Technologies is an MIT-founded medical technology startup headquartered in Boston, with a growing product development hub in Kuala Lumpur.

We’re currently operating in stealth mode as we develop a breakthrough approach to cancer screening with the potential for significant real-world impact.

About the Role

Start your career at the intersection of medical imaging, healthcare, and AI.

As part of our Medical Imaging Graduate Program, you’ll work closely with our clinical and technical teams to support the development of AI-powered medical imaging technology.

You will review and annotate medical imaging and pathological data, identify relevant gastrointestinal anatomy and pathological findings, and support the development, review, and validation of AI models.

This is an opportunity to apply your medical and clinical knowledge to a rapidly developing field while gaining hands-on experience in medical imaging, pathology, and AI development.

We welcome fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant clinical experience, including nurses and other healthcare professionals with a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology.


What You’ll Do

  • Review and annotate medical imaging data based on established guidelines
  • Assist in the development, review, and validation of AI models
  • Annotate and validate clinical and pathological data for AI model development
  • Identify and tag relevant gastrointestinal anatomy and pathological findings
  • Apply knowledge of human anatomy, gastrointestinal anatomy, and pathology when reviewing medical imaging data
  • Review AI model outputs and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure annotations are accurate and consistent
  • Support the preparation, organisation, and validation of datasets for AI development and research
  • Work closely with clinical and technical teams to improve annotation processes and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of review and annotation activities


What We’re Looking For

We’re open to fresh graduates and candidates with relevant clinical experience from medical and healthcare backgrounds.

Relevant backgrounds include:

  • Medical Imaging
  • Radiography
  • Biomedical Science
  • Medical Science
  • Health Sciences
  • Biotechnology
  • Nursing
  • Other related medical or healthcare disciplines


You should also have:

  • A good understanding of human anatomy and pathology
  • Knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy and/or gastrointestinal pathology is an advantage
  • For nursing or clinical candidates, relevant experience involving gastrointestinal care, medical imaging, or clinical data is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work systematically
  • Good analytical and organisational skills
  • Interest in medical imaging, healthcare AI, and emerging technologies
  • Comfortable working with detailed clinical data and medical images
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment


No prior AI experience is required. We’re looking for candidates with a strong medical or clinical foundation who are interested in applying their knowledge to AI and medical technology.
