We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead / Supervisor Production Planner to oversee and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand, quality expectations, and delivery timelines. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials while maintaining smooth and cost-effective production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee production activities across multiple product lines

• Develop and prioritize production schedules to achieve optimal efficiency and timely delivery

• Forecast and allocate manpower, machinery, and raw materials to meet production requirements

• Assign and coordinate workforce resources to support production targets

• Schedule and monitor production orders to ensure adherence to deadlines

• Track production progress and address operational issues promptly to minimize delays

• Analyze production output, including completed units, defects, and operational performance metrics

• Prepare and present regular production status, performance, and planning reports

• Maintain accurate documentation and production records

• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure seamless workflow

About you

• Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations

• Proven leadership and team management experience

• Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, and resource management

• Familiarity with operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies

• Understanding of costing principles, internal auditing processes, and manufacturing operations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Well versed in numerical, analytical, and statistical skills

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
