RESPONSIBILITIES
Mediacorp is seeking a hands-on product leader to build and lead a portfolio of internal enterprise and AI products that make work simpler, more connected, and more effective for our employees.
Working with the Technology Strategy Office, you will help identify opportunities, set priorities, and turn promising ideas into products that people use and that deliver measurable value.
This is a
hands-on leadership role with people management responsibilities
. You will develop a small team of product managers while staying directly involved in user discovery, scope definition, product decisions, and AI-assisted prototyping. Your first-year focus will be building products from zero to one and establishing effective product practices for the team.
What you will do
Co-own portfolio priorities with the Technology Strategy Office. Assess opportunities across Mediacorp and business units, make investment and sequencing recommendations, and maintain clear product roadmaps.
Work directly with employees and business owners to understand how work gets done, identify unmet needs, and distinguish problems that require a product from those better solved through a change in process.
Lead zero-to-one discovery. Define the problem, explore options, build and test prototypes with users, and use what you learn to shape a focused first release.
Partner closely with engineering leads throughout development. Work together on technical feasibility, integrations, build-versus-buy choices, scope, delivery plans, and the trade-offs needed to ship a reliable product.
Work with UX designers and researchers to make complex workflows clear and intuitive. Review user journeys, prototypes, usability findings, and the quality of the experience as products evolve.
Personally use AI tools to explore concepts and create working prototypes that help users and delivery teams assess an idea before committing to a full build.
Establish AI-native ways of working across the product team. Use AI effectively in research synthesis, concept development, prototyping, requirements, testing, and product analysis.
Lead, coach, and develop product managers. Set clear ownership and expectations while staying involved in important discovery, prioritisation, and product decisions.
Partner with the adoption team and business owners on rollout plans, employee feedback, and changes needed to support sustained use.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of relevant experience building or managing digital products, with at least 2 years' experience of building AI products.
Experience leading and developing product managers while remaining an active product practitioner.
A track record of zero-to-one product work, with examples of how you validated ideas and made trade-offs before and after launch.
Demonstrable AI-native practice: you regularly use AI tools in product development and can show working prototypes or experiments you personally created or tested.
Experience working closely with engineering and UX teams to turn user needs into well-designed, technically sound products.
Sound judgment about where AI improves a product or workflow, its limitations, and how to evaluate whether an AI-enabled experience works well for users.
Experience navigating complex organisations, aligning senior stakeholders, and partnering with business and technology teams that share responsibility for outcomes.
Strong user empathy, technical fluency, and the ability to turn uncertainty into clear product decisions and action.
Experience building internal or enterprise products would be valuable. Familiarity with media or related workflows would be an advantage.
Please note that your application will be sent to and reviewed by the direct employer - Mediacorp Pte. Ltd.
