This is an on-site internship based in Petaling Jaya, where you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management and marketing campaigns across our financial services and education programmes, including FinWHIZ.

You will help bring ideas to life through engaging posts, reels and videos, while supporting events, promotional activities and business outreach. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, keeps up with social media trends and is eager to turn creative ideas into meaningful content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content, including reels, short videos, graphics, photos and captions for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Plan and maintain a content calendar to support consistent posting across FinAIMS and FinWHIZ channels.

• Capture and edit photos and videos from workshops, training sessions, events and team activities.

• Support marketing campaigns for financial education programmes, corporate workshops, recruitment and other business initiatives.

• Work with the team to turn financial concepts and programme highlights into clear, relatable content.

• Monitor engagement and content performance, and suggest ideas to improve reach and enquiries.

• Assist with social media enquiries and coordinate follow-ups with the relevant team members.

• Research potential partners and support outreach, promotional materials and event coordination.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Business or a related field.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage.

• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, with an interest in social media trends and audience engagement.

• Basic skills in Canva, CapCut or similar design and video-editing tools.

• Comfortable taking photos, filming short videos and writing engaging captions.

• Creative, organised and willing to take initiative, with good attention to detail.

• Able to work collaboratively, manage deadlines and respond positively to feedback.

• An interest in financial education and personal finance is a plus; prior financial knowledge is not required.

• Available to work on-site in Petaling Jaya during the internship period.

Applicants are encouraged to share examples of their work, such as social media posts, videos, designs or university projects.
