Responsibilities
Compile and prepare
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
for Invitations to Tender (ITT) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Identify and assess suitable suppliers by comparing
pricing, product availability, quality standards and logistics expenses
.
Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to coordinate on-time delivery and ensure the equipment supplied meets quality requirements.
Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure
project and customer requirements are properly fulfilled
.
Handle payment processing and approvals, track purchasing costs and ensure procurement records are properly maintained.
Keep track of inventory and stock availability and arrange for replenishment when necessary.
Raise
Purchase Orders (PO)
and set up item codes for equipment.
Work out the
costing and selling price of equipment
.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the HOD.
Requirements
Relevant working experience in
procurement, purchasing or a related function
.
Strong experience in
supplier sourcing, negotiation, costing and vendor coordination
.
Able to evaluate suppliers and quotations based on pricing, quality, availability and delivery considerations.
Able to coordinate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal departments.
Candidates with experience in
commercial kitchen equipment, F&B equipment, engineering or construction
will be preferred.
Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
