Job Objectives:

As an HRBP, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership, delivering HR solutions that support business goals while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Partner with Production and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business and operational needs  
• Support manpower planning, workforce stability, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment  
• Manage employee and industrial relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, and domestic inquiries  
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal HR policies and procedures  
• Drive performance management processes, including appraisal cycles and talent development initiatives  
• Support succession planning and collaborate with L&D on capability building programs  
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to fulfill hiring needs for critical roles  
• Provide insights on hiring challenges and workforce trends, especially for technical positions  
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and maintain effective communication between management and employees  
• Ensure HR documentation, reporting, and audit readiness are properly maintained  
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of work experience in HR, of which 5 years in HR Business
• Partnering. HRBP experience in the manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on industrial relations.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations practices, and compliance standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively with union representatives and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel across SAM Malaysia when required.
