Job Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the CNC turning department’s daily output, quality and on-time job completion.
• Plan and assign jobs to machines and employees according to priorities, capacity and delivery dates.
• Ensure materials, drawings, programs, tooling and inspection requirements are ready before starting each job.
• Set daily production targets and follow up on actual output, downtime and unfinished jobs.
• Manage manpower, attendance, overtime arrangements and shift handovers.
• Supervise machinists and operators, enforce work discipline and evaluate performance.
• Identify production delays early, arrange recovery actions and escalate issues requiring management support.
• Coordinate with QC to control defects, investigate rejection causes and prevent repeat problems.
• Guide the team in resolving difficult setup and machining issues.
• Improve machine utilisation, cycle times, tool consumption and scrap rates.
• Train employees and develop their skills so they can handle more jobs independently.
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, housekeeping and company procedures.
• Report department performance, outstanding jobs and delivery risks to management.

Job Requirements

• Strong CNC turning experience with proven team leadership or supervisory ability.
• Able to plan production, allocate manpower and manage multiple jobs.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC turning setup, programming, tooling and troubleshooting.
• Able to read engineering drawings and understand precision machining requirements.
• Able to lead employees, resolve problems and take ownership of department results.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
