Job Summary

You will lead quality assurance efforts on construction projects by conducting inspections, identifying risks, and managing corrective actions to ensure compliance with specifications and achieve CONQUAS targets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze non-conformities by performing root cause analysis and proposing corrective actions to improve quality outcomes
• Conduct independent Quality Assurance checks on project sites to verify compliance with project specifications and approved drawings
• Identify and assess potential risks from workplace conditions or work processes to maintain a safe and compliant environment
• Maintain and control daily QA/QC practices through regular checks and inspections to ensure proper procedure implementation
• Inspect in-progress and completed works to confirm adherence to project specifications and construction drawings
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and process improvements to enhance project quality
• Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve required CONQUAS quality standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control for local construction projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to work independently and resourcefully

• Alternate Saturday work schedule
