QAQC MANAGER – DATA CENTER

The Company:

Our client an regionally established engineering construction firm recognized for delivering high-performance mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure solutions for complex Data Centre projects across South East Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on a data center construction project.
• Monitor and maintain the project's QA/QC system to ensure compliance with client expectations and relevant authority requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits to verify that work is completed according to quality standards and project requirements.
• Review Method Statements (MOS) and Material Submissions (MES) to ensure they comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
• Oversee the full QA/QC process from planning and implementation through to project completion.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC documentation, including Project QA/QC Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and inspection checklists.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch list items, and quality-related close-out activities to ensure issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Act as the main point of contact for all quality matters, coordinating closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience working in Data Centre projects is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
