Science Lab Assistant

• Salary: $12.50–$13/hour (approximately $2,437.50–$2,535/month)
• Contract Duration: 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 24 months
• ️ Contract Period: January–December 2027
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break
• Working Days: Monday–Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays
• School Holidays: No service required during scheduled school holidays, including 29 May–27 June 2027 and 1–31 December 2027. Salary will be prorated accordingly.

Job Requirements

• Singapore Citizen.
• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• Pleasant personality with basic knowledge of laboratory apparatus and equipment.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Some gardening experience.
• Able to work under pressure.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing resources and materials for lessons and related activities.
• Support the procurement of materials and supplies when required.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Keep laboratory and designated work areas clean and organised.
• Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with practical activities, experiments, enrichment programmes and basic gardening tasks.
• Support the upkeep of designated indoor and outdoor planting areas.
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, attending to enquiries, filing and distributing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
