Role Description

The Strata Insurance Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cheras. This role involves providing advisory services on strata insurance coverage for residential and commercial properties, including assessing risk exposures, reviewing existing policies, and recommending appropriate protection. The consultant will assist clients with claims submission and documentation, coordinate with insurers, adjusters, and other stakeholders, and help resolve disputes related to strata claims. Daily responsibilities include preparing reports and proposals, attending client meetings and site visits, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to improve processes, support client retention, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of property, casualty, liability, and specifically strata insurance products and coverage structures.
• Experience in insurance claims handling, including documentation, negotiation with insurers, and resolution of complex or repudiated claims.
• Skills in risk assessment and analysis, with the ability to interpret policy wordings, endorsements, and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing advisory work, stakeholder coordination, and report writing.
• Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed records.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and basic data management.
• Relevant experience in insurance brokerage, risk consulting, or claims consultancy; strata management experience is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Finance, Law, or a related field preferred; professional insurance qualifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
