Job Summary
Support account management, sales prospecting, and business development for exhibitions and conferences to generate sponsorship revenue and coordinate event information and resources.
Responsibilities
Execute sales and marketing strategies to acquire potential leads and increase event sales.
Identify new markets and business opportunities through cold calling and other prospecting methods.
Source and engage clients actively for exhibitions to expand customer base.
Prepare creative proposals to attract new sponsors and clients at various levels.
Provide accurate quotations to customers and follow up promptly to close sales.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring a positive event experience.
Deliver accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders to support event coordination.
Conduct market research and monitoring activities to improve sales department efficiency and performance.
Gather and analyze market and customer data to maintain relevance in the industry.
Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events to collect qualified leads and sales intelligence while tracking market trends.
Plan, design, and implement revenue-generating initiatives such as show directories, merchandising, awards, competitions, hospitality suites, and electronic media.
Source mailing lists and manage databases of potential sellers and trade buyers to support sales efforts.
Submit and update sales and project reports to track progress and outcomes.
Assist with additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
