Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer position based in Damansara.

We're looking for a designer with a strong background in editorial design, particularly book publications, corporate reports, annual reports, integrated reports, and other long-format publications.

You will be responsible for designing and developing publication layouts from concept through final artwork, ensuring every page maintains visual consistency, readability, and production quality. You'll work closely with creative directors, writers, project managers, and clients to transform complex information into engaging, well-crafted publications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop annual reports, integrated reports, sustainability reports, corporate profiles, books, magazines, and other editorial publications.
• Create clean, sophisticated layouts with strong typography and information hierarchy.
• Develop visual concepts that align with clients' branding and communication objectives.
• Prepare artwork for both print and digital publishing.
• Ensure consistency across large, multi-page documents.
• Work closely with internal teams and clients to refine designs based on feedback.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in editorial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing book publications, annual reports, or other long-format publications.
• Excellent skills in Adobe InDesign (essential), Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of editorial layout systems, grids, typography, page composition, and print production.
• Experience handling large multi-page documents with precision and consistency.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate complex content into clear, engaging visual communication.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points

• Experience designing for public-listed companies.
• Experience with ESG, sustainability, or integrated reports.
• Knowledge of print production, colour management, and prepress workflows.
• Strong illustration, infographic, or data visualization skills.
• Motion graphics or digital publication experience is an added advantage.
