Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Perform maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, including electrical appliances, lighting systems, small power systems, motor control panels, switchboards, transformers, diesel standby generators, and HV/LV electrical panels.
• Support the maintenance of electrical equipment for production facilities, including the Batch Plant, Furnace Working End, Forehearth, IS Machine, and Cold End, ensuring equipment reliability and minimum downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with established safety procedures, ISO Quality Management System requirements, and company maintenance standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the electrical workshop, electrical rooms, Genset Room, Transformer Room, and HV/LV Panel Rooms to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
• Assist the Electrical Maintenance Department in carrying out daily maintenance activities, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, lighting systems, and small electrical installations.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, equipment modification, upgrading projects, and cost improvement activities to enhance plant reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and promptly report equipment abnormalities, faults, and maintenance activities to the immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) or PW4/AO certification.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the electrical field.
• Good skills in servicing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment failures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IoT and CMMS.
• Hardworking, a good team player, able to follow instructions, with good logical thinking and self-confidence.
• Able to join us immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
