Job Summary

We are looking for a well-organised and proactive Logistics Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily deliveries, managing transportation schedules, optimising delivery routes and ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.

This role requires strong coordination skills, good planning abilities and the ability to work closely with warehouse, sales support, customer service and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics & Delivery Planning

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules based on customer orders and delivery priorities.
• Arrange and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements with company drivers and external transporters.
• Monitor delivery progress and follow up on delays or delivery issues.
• Ensure effective utilisation of vehicles and transportation resources.

2. Warehouse & Order Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse teams on picking, packing and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure orders are prepared and dispatched according to delivery requirements.
• Work closely with Sales Support and Customer Service teams on urgent deliveries and customer requests.
• Monitor pending orders and arrange timely dispatch.
• Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, damaged goods and returned shipments.

3. Transportation & Cost Management

• Monitor transportation costs, vehicle utilisation and delivery efficiency.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) service providers when required.
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation expenses and improve delivery efficiency.
• Monitor transporter performance and service quality.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain delivery schedules, transportation records and logistics reports.
• Ensure delivery orders (DO), proof of delivery (POD) and related documents are properly recorded.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery status and completed shipments.
• Prepare daily and monthly logistics performance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, delivery costs and vehicle utilisation.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in logistics planning, transportation coordination or warehouse operations.
• Good knowledge of delivery scheduling, route planning and transportation management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP, inventory or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in medical equipment distribution or healthcare logistics is an added advantage.
