Job Description

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to standardize and automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality and governance standards.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement reliability and resiliency best practices, including disaster recovery planning, incident management, and capacity optimization.
• Collaborate with software engineering, product, and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve operational workflows.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices align with security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards to support knowledge sharing and governance.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and adopting modern DevOps, cloud, and automation practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver automation initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Establish governance standards, release management processes, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Automation Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• AWS Cloud Services
• VMware Infrastructure
• Linux & Windows Server Administration
• Storage and Data Centre Operations
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
• Terraform
• Ansible
• CloudFormation
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless services, IAM, Single Sign-On (SSO), and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience using monitoringandobservability tools including:
• Grafana
• Datadog
• Prometheus
• OpenTelemetry
• Strong understanding of source control and DevOps platforms including GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
