ABOUT THE ROLE
Build ecommerce operations that run reliably at scale.
Maxify is hiring an AI Ecommerce Operations Executive who can turn real ecommerce problems into dependable AI-powered workflows. You will combine ecommerce operating knowledge with hands-on automation building to improve catalog accuracy, campaign readiness, inventory visibility and order-exception handling across business environments.
This is a builder-operator role: you will design, implement, monitor and improve workflows, not only maintain listings or prepare reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Map high-value ecommerce processes and identify where automation improves sales, customer experience or operating cost.
- Build workflows connecting storefronts, marketplaces, inventory and order systems, spreadsheets and communication tools.
- Automate product-data checks, promotion validation, stock reconciliation, reporting and exception routing.
- Use AI for classification, content drafts and recommendations, with deterministic validation and authorized approval before sensitive changes.
- Handle duplicate events, stale data, rate limits, unavailable services and partial failures without creating duplicate or incorrect actions.
- Implement monitoring, audit trails, reconciliation, controlled retries and safe recovery.
- Configure reusable workflows for different stores and clients without mixing their data.
- Train operators, document runbooks and measure the outcome after deployment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Practical ecommerce experience and evidence of an automation you personally built or substantially implemented.
- Ability to work with APIs, webhooks, structured data and spreadsheets using n8n, Make, Python, JavaScript or equivalent tools.
- Strong judgment across catalog, pricing, promotions, stock and order exceptions.
- Ability to validate data, diagnose root causes and distinguish an AI suggestion from an authorized action.
- Ownership of reliability and commercial results after launch—not just the initial demo.
Shopify, Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop experience is useful. Depth in one environment and transferable integration skills matter more than listing every platform.
