We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer for Production to perform quality checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures that all in-process and finished products meet company standards and regulatory requirements before moving to the next production stage or market.

Key Responsibilities:

In-Process Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality inspections during each stage of the production process.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify, record, and report any non-conformities or defects during production.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and operators for corrective actions.

Visual & Physical Checks:

• Perform visual inspections and basic physical tests on semi-finished and finished products.
• Verify labeling, packaging, weight, dimensions, and product specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and timely records of all quality checks and inspection findings.
• Fill in in-process quality control checklists and deviation reports.
• Escalate quality issues to QC/QA Manager and assist in root cause analysis.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory norms (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP as applicable).
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards on the production floor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Understanding of in-process quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality tools.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards (ISO, GMP, etc.).
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Science, Engineering, or any related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality control on the production floor (manufacturing industry).
• Experience in working with measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
