Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor (M&E) to oversee daily site activities and ensure that mechanical and electrical (M&E) works are carried out according to project specifications, approved drawings, safety requirements, and project schedules.

The ideal candidate should have a background in M&E construction, good site coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily M&E site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical and electrical installation works, including electrical wiring, lighting, power distribution, plumbing, and other related building services, as applicable to the project.
• Ensure all site works comply with project quality standards, safety regulations, and relevant construction requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, suppliers, consultants, and other site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to the project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, technical issues, and non-compliance, and coordinate the necessary rectification works.
• Read and interpret M&E drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, site photographs, and other project documentation as required.
• Monitor the usage, delivery, and availability of materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on work progress, site issues, and any delays to the Project Manager or relevant personnel.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E, Building Services, or a related field.
• Previous experience in M&E construction, site supervision, or building services projects is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of M&E installation works, construction drawings, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and supervise site workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.
