Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day food service operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient service during shifts
• Supervise and guide the team on the floor, leading by example in serving customers
• Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets
• Monitor venue equipment and facilities, and report any maintenance issues for follow-up
• Conduct regular checks on the general cleanliness and upkeep of the venue, and take corrective action where necessary
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service, product preparation, hygiene, cleanliness and daily operations are consistently followed by the team
• Assist with stock-taking, inventory tracking, and placing orders through the central ordering system
• Assist with shift rostering and complete daily paperwork and operational records
• Review Point of Sales (POS) reports and sales trends, and flag observations to the Manager to support cost control and stock planning
• Assist in onboarding and training new staff to ensure operational readiness
• Support Marketing with the execution of promotional activities and in-store campaigns
