Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily lorry operations, including delivery schedules, collection arrangements, and transportation routes.
• Monitor drivers' attendance, vehicle movements, delivery progress, and job completion.
• Plan and arrange transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and relevant departments regarding delivery status and operational matters.
• Monitor vehicle conditions and coordinate regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs with the workshop.
• Ensure all lorries and drivers comply with road safety requirements, company procedures, and relevant transportation regulations.
• Prepare and maintain operational documents, including delivery orders (DO), trip sheets, transport records, and daily operation reports.
• Handle customer complaints, delivery delays, and other operational issues promptly.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle usage, transportation costs, and overall operational efficiency.
• Assist in managing drivers, subcontractors, and other operational staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain proper filing and records of vehicle documents, road tax, insurance, permits, and inspection schedules.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in transportation, lorry operations.
• Candidates with experience in a lorry or transportation company will have an advantage.
• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; a Diploma in Logistics an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer applications.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required to support daily operations.
