Role Description The Cyber Security Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across applications, networks, and information systems, in alignment with best practices and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring security events, analyzing threats and incidents, and recommending remediation measures to reduce risk. The Cyber Security Engineer collaborates with internal teams and external partners to assess infrastructure, improve security architectures, and support secure deployment of new solutions and services. The role also involves producing clear documentation, participating in security audits, and contributing to security awareness initiatives for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Application Security and experience securing software, cloud services, and business applications.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
• Practical experience in Vulnerability Assessment, including scanning, analysis, prioritization, and remediation support.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar information security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners) and log analysis.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and/or industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
