About the job:

We are hiring a Platform Architect (EUC) for a renowned Global Client in a regulated industry, on a 12-month extendable contract. A great company culture with lots of opportunities to learn and grow. In the role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of the global End User Computing platform, setting the technical direction and standards for the organisation's digital workspace of the future.

Overview:

The role is for a self-driven senior architect with deep VDI and endpoint expertise. The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on activities including design, documentation, standards definition and design governance. Candidate must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and across a geographically distributed global team.

What you'll do:

* Author the EUC Platform High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) and chair the design ratification process

* Define the Omnissa Horizon stack (Horizon Client, Blast Protocol, App Volumes, DEM) and the App Volumes packaging standards

* Design the ************* Enterprise Browser deployment, policies and integration with M365 and Conditional Access

* Design the Igel thin client management environment and endpoint configuration * Define application delivery and integration standards, physical endpoint standards and the Bill of Materials

* Design segregated and restricted VDI configurations to support security use cases

What you'll need:

* 5+ years as a Platform Architect or Senior EUC Architect on enterprise VDI programmes

* Proven delivery of at least one large-scale Omnissa Horizon VDI deployment, covering both on-premises and cloud-hosted workloads

* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID Conditional Access and Apple Business Manager

* Working knowledge of ************* design and deployment

* Hands-on experience with Igel design and deployment, including integration with Omnissa Horizon

* Delivery experience in a regulated industry, with familiarity with change control, audit and compliance constraints

* Experience working in a large, geographically distributed global organisation across multiple time zones and cultures

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical detail for non-technical audiences

* Apple: Apple Business Manager, Managed Apple ID, Automated Device Enrolment (ADE) into Intune, iPad (COD), iPhone (BYO)

* Thin Clients: Igel OS on repurposed HP hardware

* Cloud: Microsoft Azure as the control plane
