Role Description This full-time Business Development Executive role is a hybrid position based in Kuantan, with some flexibility to work from home. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and supporting revenue growth targets. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account servicing. The Business Development Executive will also track sales activities, report on pipeline progress, and contribute to strategic planning for business expansion.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, and pipeline management.
• Strong Business acumen with the ability to analyze markets, understand customer needs, and align solutions with commercial objectives.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present, negotiate, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Account Management capabilities, including relationship building, customer follow-up, and coordination of ongoing service and support.
• Experience in the chemicals or related industrial sector is an advantage, along with familiarity with B2B sales environments.
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, travel within the region as needed, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting.
